Potocol with Instituto Agrario de Chimoio
Research
On June 2, 2008, Kijani Energy signed a research protocol with Instituto Agrário de Chimoio (Mozambique) to launch our ambitious research program. As part of the agreement, our Mozambican company Odeveza SA has initiated trial plots in co-operation with IAC and will prepare an agronomy manual for Jatropha smallholders. In the mean time, we are preparing a comprehensive research program, in co-operation with IAC and other research groups, to tap into the many benefits that can be expected from increased research into Jatropha and its cultivation and processing.
